I’ve used Moving Squad for two moves so far, one from Dania Beach to West Palm Beach and then again from West Palm Beach to Deerfield Beach. Both times the Moving Squad team did a great job and communicated well throughout. There were no surprises on moving day, and we paid exactly what we were quoted. The movers arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. I will continue to use Moving Squad for any future moves.

This is the owner of the company's brother who called me on Sept. 14 to tell me he was delivering that day while I was sitting in front of the DMV. I asked him if he could do Sept. 21 and he agreed to the date. I was at home depot buying sheets of plywood to make it easier for them to unload since I gave them ample warning that the driveway construction was not complete on our pavers. They said it was not a problem then and the day of delivery. On the 21 I was expecting delivery and called; however, no one had any record of anybody coming out to deliver.

As the date approached it turns out that he was giving me a window of Sept. 21 until October 1 for pickup and that they would let me know three days in advance and that the driver would call 1 hour before delivery. I only found out that the delivery could not be made on the 21st that morning because I happened to call. I had to rent a uhaul and was did not buy the wood because I was told no delivery. When I told Stephanou that he said to "stop playing games" and had a completely unprofessional attitude. I just wanted my items delivered, after all the entire move cost over 20k and to make things worse because of their carelessness we have an alarming number of broken, banged, and completely destroyed items some of which have been in my family for generations including a vintage cast iron stove and large wine fermenting glass bottle.

I am not pleased with this company or Colonial Van lines which they work for. It has been a nightmare to do business and just have them hold up their end of the bargain. To top it off their delivery drivers bad mouth both organizations and just tell you that they are the frontmen for crappy organization that they work for and that they just "get paid by the hour and get helped with tips." We had two moving crews on the same day with two different trucks and neither of them did what we had asked for as part of our service.

I did pay for insurance on my items so I hope they are prepared to pay for a jukebox from 1960, a 3 thousand dollar click and grow wall garden, and numerous plates and glasses. I signed papers on the first truck, but the second truck never left me a copy or signed anything in front of me? What a letdown. Do not let this happen to you. Never use Colonial Van Lines or Moving Squad. Stay away from Stefanou.

Please think twice before doing any business with this moving company! After what we went through with them, I genuinely doubt their legitimacy. Nothing can honestly describe the horrific experience and the trauma we left with after having Moving Squad making our move. It started by first coordinating our move with Ryan, which calculated our inventory by going room by room, estimated how many movers we need, hours, and gave us an offer.

On the day of the move, the movers were 2 hours late and came short with only two movers instead of 3 as initially agreed. It was already the middle of the day, and from what we understood they finished an earlier move before arriving to do our place. They barely moved stuff; it took them 5 hours to move only boxes! When we called Ryan and raised all those issues and concerns, he directed us to his supervisor and said that he could not help us! Ryan’s supervisor blamed us for having more items in our inventory, which was not true! Ryan was the one who calculated the inventory, not us. Nevertheless, this claim was proven not to be the case later that day. What a terrible customer service!!

Eventually, they decided (not us) to send an additional truck and additional movers and charged us for everything, including additional extra 2 hours, which they didn’t use, and until now they have not refunded us. They requested us to sign a document (Non-disclosure agreement) that meant to keep us silent if we wanted to receive a refund for the 2 hours they charged unlawfully. We, of course, refused to sign this.

The original offer we received from Ryan was $1,058 for three movers and 7 hours. After this terrible experience, we were charged $2,874 - 5 movers and 13 hours that in fact worked 2 hours less. In addition to all of that, they damaged our furniture and our claims were declined. They also forgot to move a huge glass top dining table. We had to find and pay someone else to move it for us after that day. Please look for a different mover!

We were originally going to go with a more cheaper company trying to save those extra $$$. The cheaper company lack of information and communication sent up so many red flags I had to get out of that commitment before it was too late. Contracting Moving Squad was one of the best decisions me and my husband could have ever made. From start to finish with Moving Squad was hands-down professionalism. Starting with Ryan my Moving Squad sales rep was extremely thorough with all of the information that he provided for my quote. His turnaround with providing me liability information was impeccable (btw, this process was such a hassle with the previous moving company, the reason I had to cancel).

Ryan has a personality like no other, he is definitely made for customer relations. Now to my movers Tavares, Michael & Roshane the prime definition of a SQUAD. They were on time, actually a little earlier than expected but did not mind waiting (per my request) until my contracted time. Diligent and respectful to us and our property. This squad work was beyond our expectation. Once we had the paperwork situated these gentlemen had my furniture wrapped up, home cleared out and on their truck in 30 MINUTES. Got to our new address and had our things unloaded, all furnishing in their appointed places throughout our new home all within 2 hours???? Me and my husband could not BELIEVE IT!!!

My husband was more than happy to tip these gentleman. Let me tell you something people you get what you pay for. We are so happy we did not go the cheaper route. But went with quality. I will never be moving any other way after this experience. And let me tell you the service did not stop there. Following my services customer relations follows up with me to utilize any feedback to train their team to provide current and future customers with top-tier service... MOVING SQUAD you are headed in the right direction if all of your staff reflects the 4 gentleman that I've mentioned. TOP NOTCH. Keep up the good work????

Moving Squad had very good ratings. They interacted with my sons and my wife. The major issue that we had was we use American Express and they didn’t accept that. It was a little tricky ‘cause we were out of town at the time. Our kids are moving from college, home. It’s the car that we use to travel and do most of our business. That was a little tough, but outside of that everything else was okay. The delivery crew picked up the car a little earlier and were very professional. Overall, they communicated well. My wife said they did a good job following up throughout the day. It was smooth.

I moved twice with Moving Squad. I felt confident with the guy who I talked to the first time that's why I chose the company. The first time that Moving Squad came, they were on time. On the second time, it was scheduled between 12:00 and 3:00 and they came at 2:30. Their moving coordinator was really nice. He explained things to me and everything went well. Overall, it was a great experience. It went fast for the moving from one place to another. However, there were some furniture that were damaged. I had a complaint with a claim and I'm waiting to see what's gonna happen with that.

I received a recommendation from my mother-in-law regarding Moving Squad, and the moving coordinator seemed very knowledgeable with my furniture. Apparently, he was looking at it online because he could describe my furniture for me. So, I knew he saw pictures of my house I had up for sale. The pick up and delivery crew was also very nice. They were very cordial and were always saying, “Yes, ma’am,” “No, ma’am,” “Thank you, ma’am.” So, they were very proper.

But we had issues during the delivery with the rain and they hit a wall. There is a scratch on the wall. It’s near an edge, and I haven’t really figured out if I could do spackling or something. I’m not worried about it. But I did complain. I’ve several people call me and follow up, and follow up, and follow up. And one of the things that happened is that my dresser and nightstand have sticky residue on the outer edges of the furniture and fuzz from the blankets that are used.

I explained that it was probably old tacky stuff from the previous used tapes that left it tacky, and then blew residue from their blankets on my furniture. I mentioned it to one of the men, but I didn’t go further and complain at the moment because I thought it would be something that I could take off with furniture polish. But no, it hasn’t come off. It’s not at the top of my list to fix today or tomorrow, but it is something that’s bothering me. And it’s a good portion from top to bottom of both the nightstand and the dresser. It didn’t happen to any of the furniture, but those two.

Also I initially was given an estimate I complained to the person that was initially doing the furniture with me, and I said to him that I’m not moving certain things. He left it in the list and I feel that I was overcharged due to that furniture that he left in the list that was not getting moved. I didn’t know how to complain that they’re asking me for an extra $1,000 that was never in any of the estimate. They figured something without being sure of the weight of the furniture. So, I didn’t know that that was supposed to be in there. But I’m satisfied with most of the work.

I kept getting different people calling me, so I kept talking to whoever was calling me. I felt I wasn’t going to get any money back or anything like that. So, I’m not going to refer the company to anybody because I’m afraid that it might happen to them. And I don’t wanna be a referral to something if they’re gonna suffer the same as me, unless I have a full conversation and explain to them, “Expect this, this, and this,” and make sure it’s better than what I experienced. But I really liked everything to a certain point. They seemed like a very well-prepared company for doing this. But there were things excluded from my original conversation that I did not know I had to look for.

The coordinator was very personable. Everything was right on the nose. The drivers used up the exact time that I had been quoted for. From beginning to end, it was three hours. They were quick, and they did not waste time. It was a good experience.
