    National Debt Relief services

National Debt Relief provides a variety of debt and financial services, including:

    • Debt settlement assistance
This remains one of the best options to get rid of debt. While debt settlement assistance works for some people, getting a debt settlement workable and approved can be a complicated process. National Debt Relief’s debt coaches have worked with over 20,000 creditors, establishing relationships to work out settlements for clients.
    • Free budget planner worksheets
To get on top of debt, you must have a handle on all of your income and expenses. National Debt Relief makes this step a lot easier by providing a free budget planner worksheet. You can easily download this worksheet and plug in all avenues of income as well as areas of expense.
    • Free debt calculator
One of the best ways to overcome debt is to develop a plan of action. Utilizing a debt calculator will help you do exactly that.
    • Consultations (including a free initial consultation)
The debt coaches at National Debt Relief understand finances, debt and accounting. They can offer counseling and guidance, as well as help with your budget plan.

    National Debt Relief FAQ

How much does National Debt Relief cost?

National Debt Relief does not have any upfront fees or cost to sign up. Additionally, initial debt consultations are free. Once debts are settled, you can expect to pay 15% to 25% of your enrolled debt as part of a monthly payment. You don’t pay until you get your debt settled, and if National Debt Relief can’t settle your accounts, you don’t pay.

How does National Debt Relief affect your credit?

If you miss payments to creditors as part of a debt settlement program, it can have a negative impact on your credit score. However, settling your debt is often a better option than filing for bankruptcy. National Debt Relief does not provide credit repair services or offer advice on ways to improve your credit; these are separately regulated services.

I first spoke with Nick in early September. He answered probably 10 complex questions I had. Nick answered my questions quickly, accurately, and respectfully. I unfortunately wasn't eligible in September, but Nick made a plan to contact me in a few weeks as a follow up. I ended up missing that appointment. I contacted Nick via email Monday, October 30th and asked him if we could reschedule and discuss my eligibility now. He messaged me promptly and scheduled an appointment for today, Wednesday, November 1. Nick seemed to remember our first conversation and was again accurate, compassionate, knowledgeable, and all around incredibly helpful and reassuring. I complimented him numerous times, and he was always very courteous and humble. He helped me through a particularly hard time of my life, through this process, and I couldn't be more appreciative.

Nick even took the chance to compliment NDR for having an incredibly great training program and I am sure you do, but also, he has some great interpersonal skills that show a lot about his character and belief in helping people through tough times. Again, he was incredibly knowledgeable about every step and procedure, he walked me through the entire process, he was patient with me when I didn't have things readily available (account numbers, breakdowns, etc.) and I hope he knows how thankful I am. Contacting NDR wasn't an easy decision for me, and had I had a different experience the first time we talked, I doubt I would have checked my eligibility again. Thank you Nick, I appreciate you helping me through this process so much.

I have been eagerly waiting for this opportunity to leave my review. Chase ** was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was patient, considerate, compassionate, understanding, empathetic, resourceful, and encouraging. On our first call, I was very cautious, concerned and quite stubborn. He desperately wanted to help me, but I would not give him the necessary information that he needed to do a “soft pull” of my credit information. He offered my generic information with several different possibilities and what they might look like. Debt Relief, Debt Consolidation and DYI. After 1 ½ hrs. on the phone answering tons of my questions, I asked him to give me 24 hrs. to mull it over.

We scheduled an appointment for the next day. I spent that 24 hrs. researching. So, I tried the DYI method first, I called my creditors to ask for help, asked them to lower my interest – lower my payments - anything for 6 months (all requests were denied). Then I called another company, one of NDR’s competitors. They told me to research each company for legal issues, BBB ratings etc. Funny thing, that other company had several recent lawsuits where NDR had none. So, after I spent my day researching, I eagerly waited for the call from Chase. He called as promised and he was ready for me this time. He said, “bring it on – I’m ready for you, Ms. Chris”.

We spoke for 3 more hrs., and he answered a ton more questions that I had. We shared a few personal stories with each other. Getting to know one another other. By the way – the more you talk about why you are struggling financially (knee surgery, wrecking car when hitting a deer, moving, and starting over alone etc.) the more they can help. Chase listened – he really listened. He even teared up when I explained my abusive past and why I am so stubborn and focused on doing things on my own without help from others. Once I decided to go with the program, I couldn’t get him to start the process fast enough. I was ready. He walked me through every step while assuring and encouraging me along the way. At the end of the call, I knew I was in GREAT hands. The weight lifted off my shoulders. I could finally sleep, and I did. I can’t wait to reach out to him one day and say “Chase, I did it. Thanks to you I am debt free!”

Kena was exceptional in that she proved to be professional, personable, patient & politely persistent. I forget how I came to find NDR, perhaps through an e-mailing. I was in need of finding a way to deal with my amounting debt and tapped on the link. I was introduced to Kena and liked her right away. Kena was well up to speed and was impressive to me that she knew so well the process.

We had started down the path when I realized that I wasn’t completely sure this was the path I wanted to be on. Upon explaining my unsureness she completely understood and encouraged me to sit with the information and when I was ready to proceed to reach back out and she would be there. I had perhaps one or two additional false starts since this process began 2 or so months ago. Last night I came to grips with the fact that I needed to be proactive and decided to call Kena back this morning.…. And there she was, just like she said she’d be. We updated my information and got the ball rolling along. Within 2 hours the process was completed.

I had many questions and Kena had an answer to each and every question. She gets 10 stars from me for being kind & patient in addition to the other 10 stars I give her for all of her other professional attributes. NDR and most EVERY company could use more employees as positive and personable as Kena. I hope she’s well paid because she could probably name her price just about anywhere she goes. Not that it’s all about the $ Money, but compensation for excellence is very important. I’m lucky to have gotten her and I’m sure you’re thinking the same.

      With Every Good Thought,

      James **

I contacted a consolidation place and spoke briefly to them before doing reviews. Once I reviewed them I saw they were not even credited with the BBB and I looked further. I found National Debt Relief and spoke with a wonderful customer service agent by the name of Isiehas. He was extremely patient and informative with me throughout the entire process, Explaining in depth through everything. We were able to talk and come up with a plan that would work for me. I was able to get a good night's sleep that night because I knew a plan was in place. He also informed me that if, for any reason, I decided to change my mind and stop with the plan, I could do so. He explained to me their fee as well as attorney fees if there were any and this is all included in my monthly payments, which another great thing, is split up into two monthly payments one on the 15th and one on the 30th.

I am very excited to finally get this debt off me because, for medical reasons, things got terribly messed up. Also today I had a question for him and was able to contact him with no problem. This is major for me to be able to have one person to guide me and help me through the process. Right now I have a fantastic feeling about this company and have had nothing but good things go so far! Most importantly is they have an A+ rating with the BBB! Thank you Isiehas!

While Ruben was an absolute gentleman, I had to try too hard to respond to things he'd say or ask. He was tied to a prepared script in his mind and was not easily pried from his canned speech. I felt pressured to commit to things I was not comfortable with and that I wanted more information on, or wanted to get other opinions about. He was focused on nailing me down as a client and it was difficult to get him to allow other thoughts, questions, or ideas to be explored.

Once he realized I was becoming frustrated with his monologue, and demanded a two-way conversation, he did attempt to soften his approach and allowed me to respond with some questions, and opinions of my own, while still maintaining his focus on pinning down a decision with which he had a vested interest. When I agreed to a call-back appointment, he was gracious and realized I would not move so swiftly into his decision for me, it was better.

On our second interaction he still had his focus on "landing the sale," but the intensity was less evident, and I felt more comfortable in speaking with him. So far, I'm thinking this is a smart move on my part. I do understand it is up to me to inform my creditors of this change. I am awaiting the telephone number that I can refer them to with their questions and concerns before informing them of the change in our relationship. I hope that will be provided soon so I can proceed with my responsibilities in making this a successful relationship for National Debt Relief, my creditors and me.

I work nights so it’s hard to stay in touch with NDR consistently, but they understand. I’ve been going through rough financial times and a divorce. They’ve helped me pull down my debt to almost half of what the creditors want. If I had to provide friendly criticism, it would be to have people on call 24/7. Due to my current work situation, it’s almost impossible to answer calls. 12 hour work days so I sleep all the time.

Michael was very patient with me and I truly appreciate his time helping me and understanding the terms. At first I was scared to do it and he made sure I was at good hands and trusting him. At first I really did not realize how much I was really in debt. I even had to stop saving from my 401k from my check to pay off my debt and I even cancel my life insurance to pay off my credit cards. Just wanted to say thank you. I still have a long way but I know I will get there.
