I made a phone call to Oxford Gold and talked to a woman named Lila, and she was very informative. This was the first time I was rolling some of my cash into a gold IRA, and she educated me on the different types of gold out there. I had her on speaker phone, and my wife was listening, and we both agreed that Lila seemed to know what she was talking about and wasn't trying to upsell us.

The representative of Oxford was someone I wanted to do business with. I made an initial call to explain what I was looking for. He offered to send out some information and I agreed. Once I got the information, I called him back and told him I wanted to proceed further. We talked about the different types of silver and different investments in silver. I had done my homework on it but I was glad to see he was up on it. I already had all the answers but wanted to see if he had them and he did. He was so calm and worked at my speed. It made it a real pleasure.

I went to Oxford Gold and they were very professional, swift and efficient. They were very thorough about how things worked. I was looking at situations, like do I want a depository that is segregated or non-segregated, and they did a good job of explaining what that was. I've been told other things by other companies. “Hey, if it's non-segregated, your gold and silver is just kind of thrown about in one big room.” I said, “What?” Oxford Gold said, “No, it's not thrown about. You'll have one big room, and then every specific client has a drawer or a metal box.”

Jared was very informative. He told me exactly what it was, what we needed to do, where I wanted to go with this, and the best pricing to get. The funny part about it was he gave me the pricing and he told me, "Go ahead, look it up, you know, the other places," and I did. They were very, very competitive, and they did an excellent job. I got the packet FedExed the next day. So it was pretty quick. I opened it and then I called him and he went on the phone and we went through the whole packet. He showed me how to do everything and what the value of it was, and the historical value of gold, whether we were gonna buy eagles or half eagles. He said, "Well, you know, Joe, that's your decision. But my suggestion to you is to buy, you know, the half eagles. They're at a good price," which they were at the time when I started, and I got them at a really good price. Now, they're skyrocketing.

Oxford Gold Group was probably the first company that I talked to that made me feel like they knew what they were doing and I wasn't getting so much of a sales pitch other than just some basic information, which is what I was looking for. I got a self-directed IRA and the rep provided some information in an email upfront, and then we went through the email and discussed the items that were listed in it. I went back to them another day and got some more questions answered that I had questions about. Then we arranged to make an appointment and do their application for the IRA.

I would recommend Oxford Gold Group. They were very receptive. I got calls back immediately. They assisted with getting the funds transferred. It was a good experience. The fact that I have some gold makes me feel more secure. Our rep, Pierre, put our minds at ease. But although he was knowledgeable, I'm not sure that I understand the cost of each coin in relation to the cost of a bar.

Oxford Gold Group was responsive. They called me back. I got what I wanted which were gold and silver. I've bought from them three times and no complaints. The second time I called, I talked to the president and he happened to have some gold in his office. He sent me those. That was quick. Then I bought some silver and that took two weeks. They managed my expectations saying it could be that long, but I ended up getting them quicker than that. However, the first person I worked with quit. When I wanted to buy my second round of metals, I sent her a text. I never heard back from her. It'd be nice if somebody got back to me. Other than that, I'm pleased.

Everything went beautiful with Oxford Gold Group. Communications were mostly done on the phone and they have different departments that are experts in their field -- the sales, the transfer shipping. I talked to three different departments and every one of them were equally outstanding.

My Oxford experience was cut and dried. They seem to be the place to be. I talked to the representative. He's an upstanding person and he gave me the right information. The purchase was very easy to do. The cost was what I expected.

They were very, very helpful. Larry called me numerous times and when I called him, he was always available. So I felt pretty confident with the deal. I made a small order just to feel them out. Right now, I'm 90% happy and I'll be 100% happy when I get the bullion. They're in California and I'm in Virginia. The correspondence was through FedEx. I really, really like the way that worked.
