Was also told by the dealer that Credit Acceptance insisted on the warranty. Glad they did because Winners Circle in Tilton, NH really got me with this car. 3000 miles the turbo went, Phoenix (Wynns) paid $2400 (exactly what I paid for the warranty), for a turbo replacement but wouldn't cover about $1500 in peripheral parts. Now 5000 miles later the transmission went. Roadside towed the car with a $15 deductible and they said OK to the transmission, but, they won't let the shop get the trans so they can't make any money off the part. Pretty sure the last shop ruined that charging them a super high price (about $600 more than average) for the turbo. I did call about a rental car last week, the person on the phone said they would get ahold of the adjuster to see how long they will pay for the rental, was going to call back in 30 to 60 min... still haven't heard back, it's Monday so I'm calling when they open. Not sure what to expect yet.

Totaled my car 8/20/21. Not at fault. The other party paid out quickly. Had the GAP since 2019, just got my declination letter form Wynns, Phoenix, whatever. The amount is $1,114. ** is sad. Rip off. The whole nine, but is what it is.

My car makes a very loud whining noise after about 20 mins of driving. The service shop that I brought my car to said that my transmission needs to be replaced. Wynn's Plus Deluxe is who I have an extended warranty with and they sent out an adjuster to look over my transmission. By the time the adjuster got to the service shop the car had been resting and so the noise was not immediately heard. I tried to explain that the noise begins after about 20 mins of driving and has caused my car to stop accelerating after a while. The warranty company refused to send out the adjuster again to re-evaluate. My cars warranty is almost up and it's clear that they are trying to waste time in order to not cover the transmission. I am very unhappy and I need my car especially since winter will be here soon and that is very hard on cars. If you need an extended warranty do not use these people. They will not help you. They don't know what they're doing.

Check engine light started flashing and engine temp flew up to 240 on my way home from work in my Silverado, coasted home to cool down. Got it to Chevy dealership in the morning; Radiator went due to hose leak and got a "Pending misfire". Wynns/Phoenix approved the $1,350 fix (new radiator, hose, labor, diagnostics) within the hour and had my truck back the next morning (10 hr job). Impressed how fast it was approved, happy my truck didn't blow up, thankful for this warranty up to this point in time. Saved me a lot of money.

Worst company in existence. Nickel and Dimed me for over 15 hours of extra work on my engine on top of not wanting to replace my engine on the truck that I JUST BOUGHT with a worn out bottom block, heads, cylinder walls, Pistons, rings, etc.. Will NEVER do business with these guys again. They approved the REPLACE of my engine and then went back and approved a REBUILD. From the get-go the rebuild was out of the question, since the bottom half is so worn, it would be the SAME PRICE to get a BRAND NEW ENGINE instead of a rebuild with NO WARRANTY and NO GUARANTEE. These guys are mind boggling, not to mention my truck has been at the auto shop for over 2 months fighting and bickering with Wynn's. I've paid out almost $3,000 for a rental vehicle, another 2 months and I could have bought the dang engine myself. I'm disgusted.

WARNING TO ALL!!! CUSTOMERS and AUTO REPAIR SHOPS!!! First of all I've owned and operated my auto repair facility for 18 years and this company is the worst in extended warranty that I've ever seen!!! By that I mean to their customers and the repair facilities! They take the customers' money for the warranty but have so many loopholes and very rarely come through for their customers!!! Also when they do on rare occasions come through... They try their BEST to get away without paying the AUTO REPAIR FACILITIES!!! WARNING to ALL!!! This is based on my experience with this company and not assumptions!

I've had my car for 15 mos, never used the warranty. Last week, my ck engine light came on. After reading all the bad reviews, I was worried. But within an hour, the shop said my claim was fully approved, and my car will be ready by the end of the day! Only have to pay the $100 deductible thanks to WEC.

So I bought a 2015 Kia and didn’t even have the car 6 months and the engine malfunctions. The warranty company sends my mechanic in circles for 3 weeks only to then say “an adjuster will be out in 2 business days to look and approve new engine.” Well my claim was denied because “foreign material” was in the engine. You want to know WHAT it was? According to adjuster a tiny piece of foil!!!! Like “the seal off of an oil bottle more than like from your last oil change” is what I was told.

So I call the place who has always done my oil changes...THEY called the warranty company as well as my mechanic. Long story short a tiny piece of foil cause my engine to malfunction and lock and the warranty company WILL NOT reimburse my $1000.00 car rental for this whole time nor will they pay for new engine over a “small piece of foil.” You always get diffident stories of what’s going on with your claim and the people you talk to have attitudes and could care less about you! I will NEVER EVER deal with them ever again and I advise the same to everyone else!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu from a used car dealer in my area with 77k miles. The brake booster just recently went out and the car was inoperable for 5 days. I contacted the dealership who assured me they would contact the warranty company and myself directly. I decided to take matters into my own hands and not wait around. BTW, the dealership never returned my call or addressed the concern and this is now a week later. I read the reviews from this very link the entire weekend.

After seeing some positive and some negative I decided to test my luck. I called Wynn’s and spoke with a very kind representative by the name of Marlene. She was very thorough on what steps needed to be taken to ensure the repair is covered. Once I spoke with her, I then called a local repair shop that is ASE certified and licensed to do the repairs. I asked before ever taking the vehicle there whether or not they have done business with Wynn Warranty and they did. They also stated they’ve never had a problem with Wynn in the past.

I had the vehicle towed that same day, not even an hour later. The rep called me within about 3 hours to inform me of the diagnosis, and she had also already contacted Wynn in which all the service charges would be covered in full. All I had to pay was the $100 deductible that I was told about when I purchased the vehicle. It’s now Wednesday, and my car was ready at 12 noon. I’m back sailing in my beauty thanks to Wynn. I would advise follow protocol before taking your vehicle anywhere!!!
